In the form of a watch, the centre of the indicator changes colour according to the intensity of the UV Rays presented in your environment.

These are especially useful on a cloudy day, when it may not be obvious that sun protection is still necessary.

Another use is to slick sunblock over the centre of the indicator, at the same time as applying to yourself and/or you kids.  As the sunblock wears off, the indicator begins to change colour, showing that it's time to re-apply your sunblock!
